| Job Description: | Job tasks Write, maintain and enhance Test automation scripts and framework including its infrastructure, data and execution practice Write automation test scripts using existing or new test frameworks for projects and regression. Create automation tools or scripts that support testing infrastructure Manage test infrastructure and execution of automated tests Continuously maintain automated test cases Improve the automated testing framework, as required, for re usability and scalability Act as a key liaison between testing and development & release teams Lead the testing effort across the project through effective planning, scheduling, oversight and execution Ensure that test artefacts meeting the project scope are delivered to agreed schedules Effective resource planning for tests and achieve coverage of all required test scope Support testing processes and methodology are appropriately adhered to and the required level of quality is built into test planning and design Effectively manage testing incidents from initiation to resolution Ensure tests are designed with a focus on reuse and maintainability Experience / Technical skills (mandatory) Minimum 5 years testing experience using the Software Development Lifecycle and Full Testing Lifecycle 2+ years demonstrated development experience in Microsoft .Net / C# Experience with test automation Understanding of design patterns and practice Test automation experience in a commercial environment utilising Microsoft.Net/C# Understanding and experience of the full lifecycle of testing Experienced with testing methodologies (including Agile and Waterfall) Intimate understanding and experience of functional, regression and acceptance testing Strong Microsoft.Net C# skills Strong SQL Server database knowledge Strong knowledge on any UI Testing Automation Framework such as Selenium, Telerik, WebDriver, Watir/Watin, ect. |
