| Job Description: | Key Responsibility Areas : Conduct performance testing activities, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing, to identify system limitations and performance bottlenecks. Develop comprehensive performance test plans, outlining test objectives, scope, testing strategies, and resource requirements. Create and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) to simulate real-world scenarios. Execute performance tests, monitor system behavior, and analyze test results to identify performance issues and root causes. Collaborate with development teams to fine-tune application performance, optimize SQL queries, and recommend code-level improvements. Prepare detailed performance test reports, including findings, recommendations, and actionable insights for stakeholders. Contribute to the automation of performance testing processes and integrate performance tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators, to address performance-related issues. Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and analysis. Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar. Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools. Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or scripting languages). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in an agile development environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, performance testing certifications) are a plus. |
