| Job Description: | Job Overview: Quality Assurance Engineer (Backend & API) Responsibilities • Perform backend testing, API testing with automation. • Develop, maintain, and execute automation tests of backend services. • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and project managers to clarify requirements and create comprehensive test cases· • Perform detailed regression testing with every release. • Identify and help resolve issues in non-production and production environments· • Provide innovative technical solutions to enable improvement and new product features. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant years of experience • At least 8 years of experience in backend & API testing • Strong Database/Backend testing with ability to write complex SQL Queries for data validation and integrity. • Strong Realtime API testing and API automation using frameworks like selenium etc. • Good exposure to performance tools like JMeter, Gatling etc. • Good knowledge on Nonfunctional testing like security, load testing, performance testing etc. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Financial Technology, such as payroll, payments, or eCommerce. • Experience with Microsoft Azure • Experience with source control using Git. • Experience supporting high-volume traffic web applications. General • The candidate will be working directly as part of the client’s agile team. • The shift timings will be from 6pm to 3am |
