ERP Tester with Accounting Expertise

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the Financials/accounting modules of our ERP system. This will include functionalities like accounts payable/ receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, financial reporting, etc.

* Leverage your accounting knowledge to identify and test for potential errors in financial data processing and reporting.

* Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand new features and ensure quality testing throughout the development lifecycle.

* Execute test scripts, identify bugs and defects, and document them clearly for efficient resolution by the development team.

* Participate in regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after new updates.

* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for ERP testing methodologies and tools.

* Maintain clear and concise test documentation for future reference.

Qualifications

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on ERP systems.

* Proven experience in testing accounting functionalities.
Strong understanding of accounting principles (general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable, etc.)

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
