Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Manual Test Engineers with strong Trade Finance domain knowledge, particularly in Letter of Credit (LC), to join the testing team supporting banking applications. The candidate will be responsible for test planning, test case preparation, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation of Trade Finance functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements related to Trade Finance applications.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution plans.
Perform end-to-end manual testing of banking/financial applications.
Validate Trade Finance workflows, transactions, and business rules.
Strong hands-on testing experience in Letter of Credit (LC) processes.
Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and retesting activities.
Identify, document, track, and manage defects using defect management tools.
Perform defect analysis and coordinate with developers/business teams for resolution.
Participate in requirement walkthroughs and clarification sessions with business and functional teams.
Ensure adequate test coverage and timely completion of testing activities.
Prepare test execution status, defect reports, and testing metrics.
Support UAT and production release validation activities when required.
Mandatory Skills
Manual Testing – 3+ years
Trade Finance – minimum 2 years
Letter of Credit (LC) – mandatory
Strong knowledge of banking/financial applications
Test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting
Functional and regression testing experience
